Starter kit provides basic tools for learning to use oil stones to produce a strong, keen, long-lasting edge on all types of knives, plane blades, chisels, scrapers. The medium grit India stone produces the average edge needed for most tools; and the soft Arkansas stone produces a polished razor-like finish on an already sharp edge. The specially formulated sharpening oil enhances the sharpening action and minimizes the clogging of the stone's surface
